bposhphoto@me.com The Hazelton’s welcomed baby Stella into the world via home birth. All was well until she could not breathe and had to be airlifted to the local children’s hospital. This is exceptionally heart breaking, as in just 2 years before, her husband was in a near-death car accident and had to be air-lifted. This mama is SO freaking strong it’s incredible.
They didn’t know how bad the oxygen loss would affect the brain and there was a possibility of brain trauma. Prayers were lifted and God heard. And after further testing her brain was unharmed . She even had to have an unexpected heart surgery. God saw them through Scott’s recovery AND Stella’s. There had once been fear, but now the scars remind them that He carried them through such a tough season and He is good.
Their family is so easy to be around- lots of laughs and loves. She even sent me home with some Honey they’ve harvested from their own bees! The girls are so excited for their new baby sister and I’m sure Scott is just living the girl-dad dreams haha!
