bposhphoto@me.com Fresh 48 sessions are like a rush. As soon as you get the text, you cover all your bases (childcare, charged gear, pack baby extras, ID just in case, etc) and get to the hospital. These are scheduled in between right after labor and going home.
CMC Pineville’s maternity ward was awesome. It was a whole separate building than the main hospital and right across the street from starbucks and Amelies. (I would totally be sending my husband to pick up Macarons!)
This session was captured at just about 11 hours old! How awesome does Stephanie look just after birth! They even set up a sweet build-your-own-latte bar for the staff. How cute is that? Serving after being served. Such a thoughtful idea! I’m sure the nurses appreciated the gesture! This room had an awesome window -which as a natural light photographer is always a win! I typically bring some swaddles, etc, but Stephanie bought this adorable floral set from Milk Maid Goods and it was perfect! Thank you John and Stephanie for letting me be among the first to see baby Navie and to capture the first moments with her!
