bposhphoto@me.com I love before and afters so I thought I’d share some from our recent house project– updating the floors. Since we moved in 4 years ago, I have been DYING to get rid of this blue plaid vinyl. Whoever picked it out must have been crazy. It doesn’t go with anything. I kept seeing the commercial for 50 Floor during Live with Kelly… so I mentioned it to Gray and we finally had them come out. We picked out one for the kitchen and one for the upstairs bathrooms. Anything was better than what we had.
We sold our kitchen table and chairs on craigslist and put the money toward a new set. I am always trying to find the best deals for what we want. I found these metal chairs at a couple places but they were sold in sets of 2 at target (you get 5% off with red card and right now they have 10% off furniture!!). Poor husband had to drive to a couple different ones to get all of them and the hardware. The table came from World Market. They have a 10% off coupon for signing up a new account. I already had one, so Gray signed up again to get the 10% off the table.
We are debating paint colors for wall and/or cabinets. We love the Revere Taupe from Benjamin Moore. There’s still some work to do.. but getting there!
