I was so exited when my friends offered to throw a shower to celebrate baby Lennox. I assumed third babies wouldn’t get the same “celebration” as the first, but this was seriously over the top. All the little details matched my nursery perfectly. My friend Amanda was the visionary behind it all, my friend Sarah opened her home and helped plan, and my friend Stacey helped it all come together seamlessly. I loved all of their ideas. A lot of my friends helped out in other ways too and I am SO appreciative of every thought that went into it! Thank you everyone!
From the basil centerpieces to the handmade teepees, I was in awe of such detail. The food was THE BEST. It was all healthy little appetizers set up as pairings and little mini desserts. Blackberry lemonade and cucumber basil water for drinks. It was so delicious. I wanted to take the baby out and put the food right in haha! The banner was made by my friend, Lauren, and I will totally be using that for photo props. I might even pack it in my hospital bag lol. The little booklet was made to write prayers for baby Lennox. I haven’t read them yet because I know I’ll be a puddle of tears. My friends are so thoughtful! All of the table coverings were chalkboard paper and the one in the dining room had notes for Lennox. They were hilarious. I took pics of all of them, but posted my mom’s because it is just that funny.
I got so many cute things off of my amazon list… pictured is one of my favorite rompers from Kutikati on etsy. Such cute modern boy stuff that i’ve started collecting. Another one of my faves, is these wooden blocks by Little Sapling Toys from my friend Karin, that have his name printed on them. I got the idea/ link from one of my clients that had him in her nursery. One perk to being a newborn photographer is getting to take notes on all my favorite nursery items! Thanks Courtney for the link!
*More photos of my nursery will be coming to the blog soon! I post some peeks on instagram @BPoshphoto or #lennoxgray (though not all of those are mine, but I think you can tell haha).
